In an earlier
version of the list for this year there was an assessment of £0
2s 6d for a John Shaw but the revised list allocates the tax
to W Haynes so presumably his land was sold during the year. It is
interesting that there was still a small Milward presence in the
area. The Jethro Shaw here was b. 1748 and d. 1802, he married Sarah
Wall.
